Tathra Beach in the minutes before sunrise, with wispy pink clouds catching the first light above the rugged foreshore. From this elevated vantage point, the historic Tathra Wharf deck extends out over the water — the only remaining coastal steamer wharf in NSW, on this headland since 1862. The 3:1 panorama takes in the full sweep: rocks, beach, wharf, and the open Tasman Sea, all in the quiet of early morning before the day begins.
