Bournda National Park sits between Merimbula and Tathra, and it is the quietest ground on this coast. Most of this collection is the lagoon — at rest, mirror-still in reflection, and stretched out as wide and super-wide panoramas — along with a fisherman working its edge. Beyond it, the tree-lined path down to the beach at Wallagoot Lake, and the long sweep of Bournda Beach itself.
Every image was made by John Martin. His parents retired to the Sapphire Coast in the early 1980s, and he returned to live in Merimbula in 2020, a few minutes down the road from the park gate. He trained at RMIT and holds CASA commercial drone accreditation, ARN 1092457. Nothing here is stock photography.
Each print is made to order as fine art paper, timber-framed, canvas or acrylic panel, from A4 through to a 200cm super-wide panorama. Free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $100, or collect locally in Merimbula.
Every print is made to order and checked by hand. If anything’s not perfect, we’ll make it right.
