Pambula is a river town with a coastline attached, and this collection divides about evenly between the two. The river runs from the oyster leases and Wheelers down through the Broadwater and out to the sea entrance at Barmouth Beach — seen here at water level and from the air. On the coast: sunrise over Pambula Beach, the rock frame, Lennards Island, the quiet of the Yowaka in the rain, and The Pinnacles in Beowa National Park, where white sand cliffs are capped with a layer of red clay.
Every image was made by John Martin. His parents retired to the Sapphire Coast in the early 1980s, and he returned to live in Merimbula in 2020, ten minutes up the road. He trained at RMIT and holds CASA commercial drone accreditation, ARN 1092457 — which is how the aerial views over the river and the Broadwater were made. Nothing here is stock photography.
Each print is made to order as fine art paper, timber-framed, canvas or acrylic panel, from A4 through to a 200cm super-wide panorama. Free shipping Australia-wide on orders over $100, or collect locally in Merimbula.
Every print is made to order and checked by hand. If anything’s not perfect, we’ll make it right.
