Taken from an elevated hilltop vantage point in Bournda National Park, this 2:1 panorama reveals the full layering of the landscape — the calm waters of Bournda Lagoon in the foreground, surrounded by melaleuca trees; a pristine beach in the middle ground; and the deep blue of the Tasman Sea stretching to the horizon beyond. Lake, bush, beach and ocean, all in a single sweep. Very few people ever see this view — and this image brings it home permanently.
