The Merimbula Boardwalk at sunset — the timber walkway winding around the lake shore through mangroves and eucalyptus, the sky warm with orange and amber, the lake reflecting the fading light. The 3.4km return walk takes about 1.5 hours and passes jetties, seating areas and a variety of birdlife, finishing at Sunny's Kiosk where you can hire a boat or kayak.
