Bournda Lagoon's Serenity — coastal wall art from Bournda National Park on the NSW Far South Coast (Sapphire Coast), photographed by local photographer John Martin. Made to order as a fine art print, framed print, framed canvas, stretched canvas or acrylic panel, A4 to 150x100cm, delivered Australia-wide.

Paperbarks line the bank at Bournda Lagoon, pale bare trunks beneath dense green crowns, with forested hills rising behind them. The water is glassy enough to hold the whole bank in reflection, so the picture reads almost as two landscapes meeting at the waterline.

Bournda National Park runs along the coast between Tathra and Merimbula, its lagoons held behind the dunes and fringed with paperbark. Nothing in the frame is moving. The stillness is the subject.

Photographed by John Martin · Merimbula, Sapphire Coast
