Rolling green hills, eucalypts and quiet paddocks near Bega — photographed in 2002. The Bega Valley’s pastoral landscape has a particular quality in the softer light of that era, and this image holds it well. Bega sits at the foot of Mumbulla Mountain on the traditional lands of the Yuin people, and has long been known for its agricultural heritage and, of course, its cheese.
