Aslings Beach Rock Pool at the southern end of Aslings Beach, Eden — seen from directly above. The vivid emerald and turquoise of the Tasman Sea swirls around an ancient rock formation in deep crimson, burgundy and cream, its layered structure clearly visible from the air. The rock pool itself sits calm and sandy-floored against the base of the formation, a concrete wall enclosing what has been a local swimming spot for generations.
