Short Point Sunrise — coastal wall art from Merimbula on the NSW Far South Coast (Sapphire Coast), photographed by local photographer John Martin. Made to order as a fine art print, framed print, framed canvas, stretched canvas or acrylic panel, A4 to 150x100cm, delivered Australia-wide.

Sunrise on the wide rock shelf at Short Point, water sheeting back off the barnacled ledge in a long exposure, an oystercatcher feeding on the shelf, and the forested headland across the bay catching the first light.

The shelf is only walkable at low tide, and at that hour the birds have it to themselves. The light arrives on the far headland before it reaches the rocks in the foreground.
