Aslings Beach rock pool sits tucked beneath a great headland of layered stone, and this puzzle builds into that bird's-eye view: bands of cream, pink and deep red rock sweeping down to the pool, turquoise water swirling around the ledges, white surf breaking over the reef and green coastal bush crowning the cliff. With so many distinct colours and textures, it's a joy to sort and a pleasure to piece together.
