Pour a cup of tea, tip out the pieces, and settle in at one of Merimbula's best-loved spots. Mitchies Jetty sits just inside the entrance to Merimbula Lake, and this puzzle builds into its bright turquoise boatshed with the pink tin roof, perched on timber stilts beside the old jetty. A little white yacht rests on its mooring in the clear blue water, and the bush rises green behind. With so many distinct colours and textures — the shed, the jetty posts, the sparkling water and the trees — it's a joy to sort and a pleasure to piece together.

It's a lovely way to slow down and unwind away from screens — that quiet, absorbing focus a good puzzle brings.
